An undergraduate student from Utah State University studying Political Science, Economics, and Anticipatory Intelligence. In addition to his research on the French and US nuclear relationship, Chase has produced research analyzing the resiliency of Utah water systems against a potential cyber-attack, as well as research outlining the utility of climate models for national security assessments and how they might be improved by emerging technologies like artificial intelligence. Outside of his research, Chase loves traveling, and he most recently finished a 38-day backpacking trek across Spain walking the historic “Camino de Santiago”. Chase currently works at Salt Lake County Mayor’s Office as their Intern Program Manager producing policy analysis, and he does additional research and training for Utah law enforcement on open-source intelligence analysis under the guidance of the Intermountain Intelligence, Industry, and Security.
